Crowns

Sometimes a tooth is too broken down for a filling to be placed. In this case a crown or “cap” is placed over the tooth to restore strength and function to the tooth. Porcelain crowns can be matched perfectly to adjacent natural teeth so that they are indistinguishable from one another. Crowns are made by using the digital scanner to take make a model of the tooth and the porcelain crown is made on this model and subsequently cemented on to the natural tooth.
